An organization website is an excellent way to publicize our mission of social change, keep our members informed, and
attract a broader audience. We will use this site to get the word out and create a better sense of community among our members.
We will also include educational information, historical perspectives, statistical analysis, legislator information, and information
on legislation that affects all Americans. As this website becomes active, it will provide an opportunity for the expression
of concerns about issues that move us closer to equal opportunity, or further from it. Our philosophy is that we are all just
regular people, that justice should be blind, and legislation should be for the benefit of all Americans---not just a few. We
live in a time where bullying has become the norm; not only physical bullying but also psychological bullying. Cyberbullying
is on the rise. We live in fear of ruin for merely having a different opinion. Laws and regulations that were enacted decades
ago to protect and advance the disadvantaged and underprivileged, though well-intentioned, have become instruments for bullying
and intimidation. Many of these government-imposed preferences have accomplished their goals. It is time to begin unwinding
these laws and regulations that have become tools for coercion and threat. It is time to return our country to the original
premise that all people are created equal, and that laws, regulations, and other enactments should apply to everyone equally.
Our Mission
Our mission is to be a guide for positive social change by giving a voice---the voice of just regular people. The Just
Regular People Group (JRPG) supports those that believe that all Americans should be treated equally by our government, in
all respects. Many groups are working for the benefit of themselves and trying to gain the advantage over others; it is ironic
that various groups of individuals want to be treated equally, as equals, while at the same time expecting to be given advantages,
expecting accommodation. Our purpose is to represent people who believe that, as Americans, we share the same freedom of opportunity,
we believe in equal justice, and special treatment is given where a verifiable need exists. The JRPG is a paradox because
it represents everyone that has not self-identified with a group. The JRPG is becoming necessary to work in their interest,
in the interest of all Americans, to be defined as a group who believes in self-determination and that we are all Americans,
equally. The JRPG is a paradox because, if we do not define ourselves and take action as a group (i.e., the largest group),
then everyone who believes in self-determination and equality will be drowned by the increasing number of those trying to
take advantage. The JRPG promises to be guided by principles such as equal treatment under the law, fairness in taxation,
equal representation in social welfare agendas for all people, and fight against institutionalized preference groups
in government and social programs. This approach is how the JRPG will help your voice to be heard.
